[spaceD9 Members] is an exclusive artist management system that has been operated in New York since 2007 by Hun Gallery, the predecessor of spaceD9. Artists selected for this program are affiliated with the gallery for a specified period, operating actively as official membership artists.
Depending on the specific structure of exhibition planning, [spaceD9 Members] is categorized into RISE Members, PLUS Members, FULL Members, and SPECIAL Members. This affiliated artist system integrates the Co-operative (Co-op) gallery model, a representative and widely successful gallery structure in Europe and the United States.
By modifying this co-op gallery system to maximize its strengths and offset its limitations, the [spaceD9 Members] program serves as an optimized "Artist Management System." It is designed to help artists focus entirely on their creative endeavors, while spaceD9 takes full responsibility for comprehensive exhibition planning and operations, including both domestic and international solo and group exhibitions. Furthermore, as affiliated artists, our members receive dedicated support that guarantees reduced exhibition costs and secured opportunities to participate in various high-profile overseas exhibitions.
[spaceD9 Members] has established a robust network membership system with diverse international galleries across New York and New Jersey in the US, Paris in France, London in the UK, Beijing and Weihai in China, Barcelona in Spain, and Luxembourg. This extensive global network acts as a strategic springboard for our affiliated artists to successfully advance into the international art market.
spaceD9 has already built a strong track record of selecting and managing outstanding artists of various nationalities locally in New York. Compared to the global stage, the Korean art scene currently lacks sufficient institutions and systems that provide consulting and support for artists to secure diverse exhibition opportunities and fully unleash their potential.
